Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 18Snap app and this website (the "Service"), operated by Fairly Fantastic, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
No account required
18Snap works without a login. You don't create an account, and we don't ask for a username or password. Your device is identified by an anonymous ID generated on your phone, so you're responsible for the activity that happens through your copy of the app.
Using 18Snap
18Snap turns a photo of your golf scorecard into a transparent share card. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or abuse the Service or its systems
- Use automated means to access the Service without our written consent
Your content
You keep ownership of the scorecards you photograph and the cards you create. When you submit a photo, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to read your scores and render your card. You're responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it, including any other players named on the scorecard.
Reading your scorecard
18Snap uses AI to read the scores from your photo. This is automated and may contain mistakes. You can review and correct any misread number before you share, and you're responsible for checking your card for accuracy. The reading feature is provided "as is" with no guarantee of accuracy.
Subscriptions and payments
18Snap is free to use with a watermark. Optional Pro features are sold as in-app purchases through the App Store and are billed by Apple under Apple's terms. You manage, cancel, or restore purchases through your App Store account — we don't process or store your payment details, and we don't bill you directly.
Intellectual property
The Service — including its design, code, card templates, and branding — is owned by Fairly Fantastic, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any right to use our trademarks or logos without our prior written consent.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fairly Fantastic, Inc. won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
